Overview

This release includes configuration changes that can be performed by existing Accounting Seed customers.

⚠Important Configuration Changes Prior to Push/Upgrade:

• Required: All users must Enable Allow Activities and Track Field History on GL Account Mapping
• Required: Stripe Users must upgrade to Spring '26 by May 15 2026

Configuration Changes after Upgrading to Spring '26:

• Required: Configurations for Large Data Optimizer (LDO) Users 
• Financial Reports Hub: Configure Field Sets
• Multi-Book GL Account Setting
• Added in this release: Classes, Tabs, VF pages, Objects and Fields

Important Configuration Changes Prior to Push/Upgrade

Required: Enable Allow Activities and Track Field History on GL Account Mapping

Ensure Allow Activities and Track Field History are enabled on the GL Account Mapping object. Without this setting the Spring '26 upgrade will fail.

If they are not checked, follow these steps:

1. Click the Gear icon and select Setup and click Object Manager.
2. Type "Mapping" in the Quick Find search box.
3. Click GL Account Mapping in the search results.
4. On Details, click Edit.
5. Scroll down to the Optional Features section.
6. Check both check-boxes for Allow Activities and Track Field History.

Required: Stripe Users must upgrade to Spring '26 by May 15 2026

Stripe users must upgrade to Spring '26 Version 3.385 or greater, by 5/15/2026 so that your ability to receive payments is not interrupted.  Once you have upgraded, there are no further configurations required.

1. Review this article to help you identify which release and version you're on.
2. Plan your sandbox testing:
   1. Upgrade to Spring '26 - review the install links article.
   2. Complete testing in your sandbox.
3. Once ready, ensure that Allow Activities and Track Field History is enabled on the the GL Account Mapping object.
4. install the Spring '26 release in your production org.

No further configurations required; you should now be able to receive payments through Stripe, as before.

Configuration Changes after Upgrading to Spring '26

Required: Large Data Optimizer (LDO) Users must re-enable LDO in app once upgraded to Spring '26

Large Data Optimizer (LDO) users should re-enable LDO in app once org is upgraded to Spring '26. Steps:

1. From the Accounting Home menu > Setup > Configurations, click Enablements.
2. Click the pencil icon to edit.
3. Scroll down to the Large Data Optimizer (LDO) section.
4. Enable any or all of the fields needed, so that your users can continue to post and unpost those source documents without interruption.

Financial Reports Hub: Configure Field Sets

Configure the following field sets on the Transaction object to make your custom fields available as columns or filters in the Financial Reports Hub report grid. Steps:

1. In Salesforce Setup, navigate to Object Manager → Transaction
2. Select Field Sets on the left pane.
3. Choose the field set you want to modify:
   1. To add a custom field as a column, choose one of the reports' field sets with "Column" in the name
   2. To add a custom field as a filter, choose one of the reports' field sets with "Filter" in the name.
4. On the right drop down, click Edit.
5. Drag the custom fields you want to make available into the field set.
6. Save the field set.
7. Repeat these steps for any of the other field sets you want to configure.
8. On the Data Manager tab, refresh the report groups to absorb the field set changes.

Once the data refresh completes, users can select those fields as columns or filters in the Financial Reports Hub report grid.

Multi-Book GL Account Setting

Add the checkbox to the Cash Receipt and Cash Disbursement page layouts.

1. Add the field to the Cash Receipt layout:
   1. In Salesforce Setup, navigate to Object Manager → Cash Receipt
   2. Click on Page Layouts and select the page layout being used.
   3. Drag the MB: Use Credit GL Account for A&C field on to the page layout's Accounting Information section.
   4. Click Save.
2. Add the field to the Cash Disbursement layout:
   1. Navigate to Object Manager → Cash Disbursement
   2. Click on Page Layouts and select the page layout being used.
   3. Drag the MB: Use Debit GL Account for both Accrual and Cash Ledgers field on to the page layout's Accounting Information section.
   4. Click Save.
